Best View In Osaka- Osaka Marriott Miyako Review

We have always wanted to stay in a hotel with a panoramic view of the city. Our wish came true when we traveled to Osaka and stayed at the stunning Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel.

Not often you get to enjoy a 5 star view from your hotel room so we were thrilled about this opportunity! We couldn’t wait to stay in the tallest building in Japan!

ABOUT THE HOTEL

Osaka Marriotte Miyako Hotel  is pretty unusual in the sense that the rooms from the 38th floor of the tallest building in Japan, the “Abeno Haruka”. This means no matter what floor your room is in, you are guaranteed a fantastic view overlooking the city. They’ve made it even easier for you to enjoy the view as every room is fixed with floor to ceiling windows.

CHECKING IN

You can find the check-in desk on the 19th floor. The lounge is a brightly lit and beautifully decorated area. You can also find a bar with live music in the evening on the same floor.

Our check-in procedure was seamless and the staff did not fail to show us the Japanese hospitality. They did not hesitate to answer all our questions and even gave us tips of what transport card to purchase and where to eat.

RESTAURANT

If you are looking for a place to wine and dine in Osaka, look no further! Restaurant ZK is located on the 57th floor and it serves both Western and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is opened for lunch and dinner. There is no better way to soak in the beauty of Osaka than doing it with a lovely meal.

THE ROOM

We were shown our room and both of us went “wow” when we stepped in. The view is so captivating! Our room was on the 47th floor and everything below looked very small.

We had a lovely big bed, bathroom with shower and bath as well as a separate toilet. They had those fancy Japanese toilets that leaves you… extra clean! They provided us with top of the range toiletries and plenty of it too!

The sofa by the floor to ceiling window was our favourite spot to sit. You can really lose yourself in the city sitting there! Such a great place to relax and enjoy the coffee and tea provided in the room.

We don’t often spend much time in the hotel room when we travel but we spent at least half the day just staring at the stunning view.  In the mist of our busy trip, this was like a sanctuary for us to rest and restore. The night view was equally as amazing as the day view. We had a fantastic night sleep in the PJs they provided us.

BREAKFAST

The buffet breakfast is served on the 19th floor every morning from 6:30am to 10:00am in Live Kitchen COOKA.

This has to be my favourite breakfast in the world. Not only do they provide a wide variety of food, everything was cooked to perfection. Also, with a view like that, it really does help you relax before the start of a busy day! You can pick from Western breakfast and Japanese breakfast. There were fresh smoothies and fresh juices to choose from and you can even order your very own omelette.

OUR THOUGHTS

This is by far one of our favourite hotels we have stayed in. This place oozes with luxury and elegance. Average price is around £200-300 per night depending on the season and type of room. This is well worth the money considering the quality of the hotel. It was definitely a wonderful treat staying at Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel!

With the room, you also have free access to the Abeno Hakuras 360 Observatory.

We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather when we were there. Staying in this hotel is definitely an experience we will always cherish!
